HOW TO FIND A
CLINICAL TRIAL
The search itself is the least difficult part of the trial-finding process. Starting it early enough that results are still actionable is what most patients get wrong.
Where to Look for Clinical Trials
ClinicalTrials.gov
The primary registry for US-registered trials and most internationally registered programmes. Search by disease, molecular alteration, phase, location, and status. Always filter by Recruiting. The eligibility criteria section of each listing is the most important section to read.
EU Clinical Trials Register + WHO Platform
EU registry covers European regulatory framework. WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform aggregates registries from multiple countries -- useful for programmes running outside the US and EU.
Patient Advocacy Organisations
Disease-specific organisations increasingly employ trial navigators. These individuals know eligibility criteria in detail and often have direct relationships with trial sites. Far underused by patients who do not know this resource exists.
Academic Cancer Centre Specialists
Oncologists embedded in active research programmes know which trials are running, which are closing, and which are genuinely promising for specific molecular profiles. Better than a registry for current, specific knowledge.

How CancerFax Helps
CancerFax is a specialist cancer access and patient-navigation platform. We help patients and families understand their options, organise medical records, coordinate hospital communication, and support cross-border treatment planning where appropriate.
We help collect and organise reports, scans, pathology, biomarker results, and treatment history for structured case review.
We communicate with hospitals or trial teams to assess whether a case may be suitable for further screening.
We support appointment coordination, document submission, translation, and direct communication with international departments.
For international patients, we help with practical coordination — travel planning, hospital admission guidance, and local support.
If this option is not suitable, we help explore other relevant treatments, clinical trials, or advanced care pathways.
From inquiry through to follow-up, our coordinators provide a single point of contact for the family.
CancerFax does not guarantee treatment access, eligibility, or clinical outcome. Our role is to help patients access accurate information, structured review, and appropriate specialist pathways.
Want Help Finding Clinical Trials Matched to Your Molecular Profile?
CancerFax searches the global trial landscape -- not just domestic registries -- to identify currently enrolling programmes matched to your specific alteration and treatment history.
