Prof. Yi-Long Wu is an internationally recognised thoracic oncologist and one of the leading figures in lung cancer precision medicine in China. He serves as Chief Expert at Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital and Honorary Director of the Guangdong Lung Cancer Institute in Guangzhou.
Over a career spanning nearly four decades, Prof. Wu has helped establish molecularly guided treatment as a standard approach for non-small cell lung cancer, particularly cancers driven by EGFR, ALK and ROS1 alterations. He founded the Chinese Thoracic Oncology Group (CTONG) in 2007 and has served as Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator in more than 50 multicentre clinical trials.
