Prof. Tony S. K. Mok is one of Asia's foremost lung cancer specialists and a globally recognised authority in precision oncology. He serves as Chairman of the Department of Clinical Oncology and Li Shu Fan Professor of Clinical Oncology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).

Prof. Mok trained at the University of Alberta, Canada, completing his BMSc in 1982 and MD in 1984, followed by fellowship training in medical oncology at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. After seven years as a community oncologist in Toronto, he returned to Hong Kong in 1996 to build a distinguished academic career at CUHK. He is internationally recognised for his leadership of the IPASS trial, which helped establish EGFR mutation-guided treatment as the modern standard for advanced lung cancer. He has contributed to approximately 340 peer-reviewed publications in journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, Science, Nature Medicine, and the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
