Dr. Suresh S. Ramalingam is a thoracic medical oncologist and Executive Director of Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He specialises in lung cancer, including small cell lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer, and holds the Roberto C. Goizueta Distinguished Chair for Cancer Research at Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Ramalingam completed his MBBS at Kilpauk Medical College in 1992 and his fellowship in haematology and oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2003, the same year he received board certification in medical oncology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He joined Emory in 2007 after faculty positions at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Wayne State University.
