Prof. Shukui Qin is one of China's leading medical oncologists, recognised for his work in liver cancer, biliary tract cancer, pancreatic cancer and other gastrointestinal malignancies. He combines frontline patient care with clinical research and the development of national treatment guidelines.

Prof. Qin has particular expertise in the systemic treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma, including targeted therapies, immunotherapy-based combinations and multidisciplinary strategies for patients with advanced or difficult-to-treat disease. He has led or participated in more than 350 international and domestic clinical trials of anticancer medicines and has served as leading principal investigator for more than 200 national and international studies.
