Prof. Pierce Chow Kah Hoe is a Senior Consultant and Co-Director (Surgical) of the Comprehensive Liver Cancer Clinic at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), and a Senior Consultant in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary and Transplant Surgery at Singapore General Hospital. He is also a tenured Professor and Program Director of the PhD Programme in Clinical Sciences at Duke-NUS Medical School.

Prof. Chow completed his MBBS at the National University of Singapore in 1989 and subsequently attained M.Med (Surgery), FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, FAMS in General Surgery, and a PhD. He underwent advanced clinical fellowship training in HPB surgery and liver transplantation in Australia with Professor Russell Strong. With over three decades of clinical and academic involvement in liver cancer, he leads the Programme in Translational and Clinical Liver Cancer Research at NCCS, a multi-institutional, multinational programme spanning genomics, immunology, biomarkers, and precision medicine. He has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications and led 12 prospective multi-centre clinical studies enrolling over 5,000 patients across 17 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
