Dr. Melvin Chua is Head and Senior Consultant in the Department of Head and Neck and Thoracic Cancers at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), and Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. He is also Principal Investigator of the Precision Radiotherapeutics and Oncology Programme and Director of the Data and Computational Science Hub/Core at NCCS.

With more than two decades since his MBBS in 2002, Dr. Chua has built a widely cited body of work in radiation oncology, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, prostate cancer, and genitourinary malignancies. NCCS records over 200 peer-reviewed publications attributed to him, with an H-index of 44 and more than 11,000 citations, including contributions to the New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, Nature, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and JAMA Oncology.
