Prof. Depei Wu is one of China's most distinguished hematologists, serving as Professor, Chief Physician and Doctoral Supervisor at The First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University in Suzhou. He is Director of the Department of Hematology, Executive Deputy Director of the National Clinical Research Center for Hematologic Diseases, and Director of the Institute of Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Soochow University.

With more than 40 years of clinical experience, Prof. Wu has dedicated his career to the diagnosis and treatment of leukemia, hematologic malignancies and complex blood disorders, with particular expertise in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and post-transplant complication management. He completed overseas training at the University Hospital Center of Nantes, France (1992–1994) and as a visiting scholar at MD Anderson Cancer Center, USA (2007). His research programme spans graft-versus-host disease mechanisms, CAR-T cell therapy, precision diagnosis of blood cancers, and investigational therapies for relapsed and refractory leukemia.
