Dr. Daryl Tan is a Singapore-based haematologist who focuses on lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other blood cancers. He graduated in medicine from the National University of Singapore in 1997 and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2002, completing his internal medicine and haematology training at Singapore General Hospital. In 2007 he was awarded a national Human Manpower Development Plan fellowship to pursue postdoctoral training and clinical research in lymphoma at Stanford University in the United States. On returning to Singapore he led the lymphoma and myeloma services at Singapore General Hospital and ran several clinical trials of novel approaches for these diseases before moving into specialist private practice. He was elected to the International Myeloma Working Group in 2014, sits on the advisory panel of the International Myeloma Foundation's Asia Myeloma Network, and has authored more than 130 peer-reviewed publications alongside over 80 invited international lectures.
