At CancerFax, we are committed to fair, transparent, and compassionate service. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are applicable for consultation bookings made through our platform. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.


1. 30-Day Refund Policy

CancerFax offers a 30-day refund window applicable to consultation bookings made through our platform. The following conditions apply:

• This policy covers both online and offline consultations booked through CancerFax.

• If, after booking a consultation, you are unable to take or receive the consultation for any reason, you are eligible to request a refund.

• All approved refunds will be processed to the same payment account or source through which the original online payment was made.

• Refund requests must be raised within 30 days of the original booking date. No refunds will be processed for requests made after 30 days of booking.


Refund Window: 30 days from the date of booking. Refund processed to original payment source.


2. Applicable Deductions

The following deduction rules apply based on the reason for cancellation:

Cancellation by CancerFax

• If CancerFax cancels an appointment due to unavoidable circumstances — including but not limited to unavailability of the consultant, technical issues, or force majeure events — no deductions will be made.

• The full amount paid will be refunded to the original payment source.

Cancellation by the Patient

• If a patient cancels a booked consultation for any personal or medical reason, a deduction of 20% of the total amount paid will be applied as administrative charges.

• The remaining 80% of the amount will be refunded to the original payment source within the applicable processing period.

3. No Refund Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

No refund will be provided once:

• The patient has availed the online or offline consultation in full.

• A prescription, treatment plan, medical opinion, or any clinical guidance has been issued to the patient.

• The 30-day refund window from the date of booking has expired.

Once a consultation has been delivered and clinical value has been provided, the service is considered complete and non-refundable regardless of the patient's subsequent decisions.


4. Refund Process

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:

• Contact our team within 30 days of your booking date via phone or email (details below).

• Provide your booking reference number, the registered email or phone number used at the time of booking, and the reason for cancellation.

• Our team will review your request and confirm eligibility within 3–5 business days.

• Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment source within 7–10 business days, subject to your bank or payment provider's processing timelines.


5. General Terms

• CancerFax reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. The most current version will always be available on cancerfax.com.

• This policy applies only to consultation bookings made directly through CancerFax. Third-party bookings or referrals made through partner institutions are subject to their respective refund terms.

• CancerFax is not responsible for any currency conversion fees, international transaction charges, or bank-imposed deductions during refund processing.

• In case of any dispute regarding refund eligibility, the decision of CancerFax shall be final and binding.
